Our Service Center will be closed between the 13th December 2024 and 6th January 2025 for the Christmas period. If you require an urgent repair, please fill out the service form.
INTRODUCTION
THOR's Photobiomodulation Therapy equipment should be serviced regularly. For fault finding purposes, we strongly recommend that probes and control units are sent together.
We aim to complete a service on your equipment within 4–5 working days, excluding shipping to and from the UK service centre. Repairs may take longer. We will send you a quote for your repair and an estimated timescale can be provided on request.
Our current turn around for services and repairs is 2–3 weeks. This time does not include shipping. We apologise for the inconvenience.
Standard Service
If a Standard Service has been requested, it will be carried out once we have received your equipment. Any faults identified during the service will be reported to you along with a quote for our recommended repairs. Show more
Survey and Repair
When a repair has been requested, a survey will be conducted and we will provide a quote for any recommended work. Repairs will be performed once we have received your authorisation to proceed. Show more
You will be invoiced for all service and repairs authorised. Once payment has been received THOR will arrange return of your equipment.
All services and repairs of a control unit will have an electrical safety test performed to EN60601.
Sadly we have to announce that our old friend, the LX2M unit we stopped selling in 2017, is reaching its end of serviceable life. It's been many years since we stopped selling the LX2M model and we are simply no longer able to get all the parts required to repair them when they break. We have stockpiled all the parts we can, but when we run out of a part, it may prevent us from repairing that unit. Contact us to learn more and pricing.

Before you send your equipment into the service centre You may need to apply for temporary exportation or outward processing relief.
Please note Duties and Taxes will be payable upon return of your equipment after it has been in for Service/Repair.
To avoid delay, please print/write the service reference number on the box.
Please note: Goods are shipped to and from our repair centre at your own risk unless you ask us to arrange transport and agree, in writing, to grant THOR Photomedicine Ltd responsibility for your equipment whilst it is in shipment and under our control. To accept this option, you must select 'YES' on the Online Service Form which will give THOR your authorisation.
